Our mission is to defend, conserve and protect our ocean and marine life. We have dedicated ourselves to this mission since 1977. We might be a small organisation, but our work has a significant impact, taking direct action and exposing and confronting illegal activities at sea.
From the gentle giants of the sea to its smallest creatures, Sea Shepherd protects all marine life species. Our campaigns have successfully defended whales, dolphins, seals, sharks, penguins, turtles, fish, krill and aquatic birds from poaching, unsustainable fishing, habitat destruction, and exploitive captivity.

How to leave a gift to Sea Shepherd Global
It’s simple to include a gift in your will. All your solicitor needs is our registration number KVK 58656472 or RSIN 853127426 and our registered name: Sea Shepherd Global.
For tax reasons it can be benificial to leave your gift with a national registered Sea Shepherd office. You can find a list of our offices and their contacts here.
You can include a bequest when making your will or add one to your existing will. You should seek legal advice to ensure your choices are properly reflected either way.
What type of gift would you like to leave?
A Cash Gift
You can decide to gift a specific amount to Sea Shepherd Global. For your gift to keep its value over the years, you can ask your solicitor to index-link it.
Specific Gift
You can give a specific item (examples include residential or commercial property, jewelery, artwork, stocks, or shares) to Sea Shepherd Global or you can include us as a beneficiary in your Life Insurance Policy.
