Help Keep the Sea Eagle on the Frontlines in 2023
Monday, 12 Dec, 2022
This holiday season, help us take care of a ship that plays a critical role in protecting marine wildlife in the Mediterranean Sea.
Sea Shepherd’s vessel, the Sea Eagle, has served our crew admirably during this year’s direct-action campaigns, playing a critical role in our Monk Seal Defense Campaign, the dismantling of 7,672 octopus traps, retrieving 225 km of discarded longlines, 4,197 hooks and 332 Fish Aggregating Devices. This has saved countless lives in one of the most overfished seas in the world.
But now this hardworking vessel is in dire need of some TLC – essential parts and repairs – so it can quickly return to the frontlines, ready to face-off with poachers and confiscate illegal fishing gear from the Med.
The Sea Eagle’s holiday wish list is extensive, but we’re sure with your help we can make this wish come true! But please act quickly, since the list will be closed at midnight on December 31st.
